Rich - VE3YW
Rich VE3YW was born and and raised in London England and moved to North America where he joined the stock market industry in Toronto, eventually moving to Philadelphia and Wall Street in NYC. He became the Assistant Vice President of a major Trust Company in Canada handling Corporate and Pension Fund investments for many companies.
Changing careers in mid life, he joined law enforcement as a Crime analyst in Canada with a major Police service eventually returning to the United Kingdom in 1998 joining the Road Policing Unit for Greater Manchester Police dealing mostly with serious road traffic accidents and the high speed pursuit of stolen vehicles and others trying to evade arrest. He also was actively involved in Her Majesty the Queen’s many visits to Manchester and other senior members of the Royal Family.
Rich retired in 2009 and returned to Canada in 2018.
He is active as a ham operator once again and other activities include photography, cycling, shooting and travel.
