I went out to Ottawa to take the basic licence test in 1973 and was given call ve3gox. Went out again in 74 and obtained the advanced with cw.In 2001 I changed my call to va3ow. Easier to copy on cw. Primarily work cw and digital with a bit of phone on 160 to 10 bands. Antennas are homebrew wire with an 80 meter loop and an ocf dipole fed with open wire feeder .
