Jim – WB2TJO

Jim–born 1950 in Buffalo, NY. Became an SWL in 1963 and passed the Novice license exam in March of 1965 to become WN2TJO. WB2TJO followed in September 1965 (General class). Met Nancy Conway in 1967 who would later become my wife and KC2KOS. Attended Syracuse University and helped establish radio club WA2SDY. Taught high school Earth Science from 1972 to 2008. Member of the NY Army National Guard from 1972-1993 (radio op, teletype team chief, Batallion and Group level Commo Chief). Married KC2KOS in 1978. Since then upgraded to extra class, had 3 kids, numerous dogs and cats, and 2 house addresses. Enjoy CW and SSB, both rag chewing and DX. I have a rig in my truck and boat. Operated /VE3, /KP2, and as 3D2JS from Taveuni Island in Fiji. Been NCS for East/Mid CARS and in the military networks.
